4 emails, Facebook messages, and a tweet to try to get my account fixed... Got one reply and they didnt even read the email. I was told to check out the FAQs... what the eff do you think I did in the last 5 months waiting for you wankers to reply?! Loved the game but if you ever have any issues, delete the app...

I cannot even update my ingress or open the app. It is with status waiting...

This game, like another Niantic game you may have heard of, contains code that disables certain tasks (such as portal hacking) if you are doing something Niantic considers to be against the rules (such as traveling at a high rate of speed). My gripe is not that the programmers implemented these limits; my complaint is that Ingress UI makes no attempt whatsoever to alert the player about what these conditions are, when they have been violated, and how to return the game to a functioning state. Ill continue to leave 1 star reviews for each new version until Niantic corrects these UI deficiencies and properly informs the player about the game with which they are interacting.

This game is the worst!

I downloaded the app, and it required an update to play. Glitchey game...

Just dont bother. Lousy customer service, waiting 3 months and no fix to my issues

Its a fun game and really addictive! Like Pokémon go just better, in my opinion! I think everyone should try this game!!

This company doesnt care about its playerbase nor whats wrong with their games. Dont get me wrong, this game is great, and is more refined and original compared to Pokemon GO, but this company repeats its mistakes and doesnt have a way for players to touch base with them to recognize any problems the players are facing with the game. They also ignore more than 80% of invalid portals that dont exist anymore or changed. They also cant tell the difference between who is cheating and who isnt. Until this company gets their **** together, dont bother with this game. You should check how the customer service is for a game before you stick to it.

So first i got the app after reading the reviews they didnt look too good but i decided to try it anyways. Then when i started the app the tutorial was telling me a bunch of weird stuff I didnt really understand. The audio was clipping in and out as if it was a small dip in a C.D or something there would be sound ••• then, nothing. So overall i personally think this app needs a few small fixes here and there. And also Im not trying to offend, criticize or stop people from getting or having the game because i bet its a fun game. I mostly just couldnt understand how to play because the buttons were complicated and kinda weird to use. So thats it -bye

Not worth any time. Game is populated with cheaters, bots and overall poor player base. Customer service is profoundly poor and lacking of concern. Questionable and flagrantly violating (by Niantics own standards) portals that you fight over against spoofers and botters whom nothing is done about. Oh and the drivers that crash into people because the need to cater to the 5 people that "play on the bus". Niantic and Ingress are total BS.

Get out in the world and walk around. Meet people, have fun. Contact local players, they will help with game subtleties. Its a social game.

Nice fun addictive

Not sure what all the complaining is about... Yeah, the sound glitches out occasionally, but not a HUGE surprise considering the level of real-time processing that is going on with the game. Most of the stuff Im seeing people post on their one-star reviews is very minor. This game use to barely run, just a year ago, even. I cant speak to the customer service issue though. Havent dealt with them for any reason... The game itself seems pretty solid though, and very fun! Dont blame the game for idiot drivers, by the way.

Ill admit, Im addicted. Much more fun than Pokémon Go. More strategy needed for this game. Met a few players who are very welcoming and awesome, regardless of the faction you choose. BUT.. Horrible Customer Service!!! Ive sent in reports of specific accounts that spoof, but they continue to play freely with the rest of us. No reply from customer service. Want to change your agent name? For some odd reason, itll take AT LEAST a month and a half for them to allow you to. Niantic seems to really not give a crap about its players. As long as were still buying portal frackers, right?

I have an iPhone 6 had apart from the rare lag when my phone is about to die, I have had no issues. Yes, it drains battery - its location-based and uses GPS, so obviously it will. No, it does not use a lot of data. Yes, it is extremely fun when you get into it and meet up with cool people. Yes, you can get far fast (I was level 5 in three and a half hours, which gave me the opportunity to spoil some big portals in town, which was a hoot). Yes, I recommend this to everyone. I have friends joining up now, and they love it. Download now!

Started a few versions ago, it uses more and more space on my phone(went to 1.5Gb). Never release the space. I have to uninstall and reinstall to claim my space, then it slowly eats up space again.

App wont start up, itll open but then itll just close up please fix this if possible

Ingress is one of my favorite games ever. Its helped to make me more active, more social, and more healthy. The gameplay is amazing, I love the competition. Very active community as well. I have nothing bad to say about Ingress. Viva la resistance!

Awesome game!!! The only suggestion to the programmers is to create a on/off toggle switch to enable/disable in game animations (such as creating fields, links, and level up). Otherwise a rock solid app.
